The Exogrid is trimmed in a grid pattern, with cut-outs that are replaced with carbon composite inserts several times stronger and lighter than the metal they replace. The heart of the Exogrid is the carbon sleeve, which provides greater handle stiffness than aluminum alone ever could. The result is a stiff handled bat that produces more barrel flex, resulting in maximum trampoline effect and greater performance.
